Celloplants Prototype
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
About
This prototype is an exploration of an idea: What if there was a farming/gardening simulator where instead of growing plants you grew musical plants?
How to play
There are six types of celloplants that have their own sound. Select a celloplant with the number keys (1-6) and click on a soil patch to plant it. "Water" it with cello sounds using the Music Beacons (they look like trees). Left click on a Music Beacon to start the growing process. Right click to pick up and right click again to drop it.
Use WASD to move and the mouse to look around. Use the number keys, scroll wheel, or the arrow keys to select an item. Press ESC to open the menu.
Use the information tool (7) and click on something to get more information about it. Use the shovel tool (8) to remove a celloplant by clicking on the soil.
If you're having problems with planting make sure the reticle in the middle of the screen is lined up with the object you want to interact with.
Info
Created using Unity and Wwise. Recorded in REAPER. There's a bunch of free low-poly assets from the Unity Asset Store I used.

I'm not a registered development company so your operating system and/or antivirus might red flag Celloplants Prototype and think I'm trying to destroy your computer. Don't worry, I don't know how to do that.
